John O’Hehir, Managing Director

John is an innovative Consultant & HR Director with over 30 years experience in the design and implementation of organisation renewal, change management and industrial relations solutions in large private and public sector enterprises.

Working as an independent consultant since 2004, his clients include AXA Insurance, Sandvik Group, General Electric, Eircom, Pharmaceutical Companies, Kraft Foods (Cadbury) ESB, Dublin City Council, RTÉ, Tallaght Hospital and Zurich General Insurance, BDO, Kepak, Skillnet, Irish Lights, Department of Defence, as well as some NFP organisations including Children’s Research and Medical Foundation.

Prior to this, he was HR Director with An Post and British Telecom. John is a Fellow of the CIPD, holds a BA and an M.B.S. (HR) 1st Class Honours and has attended the HBS Strategic HRM programme. John is an experienced Coach and certified Mediator

Shane Twomey, Director

Shane is a senior Human Resources & Management Consultant with 30 years experience in Multi-National, Indigenous and Public Sector environments.

He is experienced in delivering Leadership and Management Development Programmes and facilitating Leadership Teams through major Change and Business Development Cycles.

Shane focuses on developing solutions that align people and organisations in order to enable them to maximise their performance.

Clients include:DHL, Glanbia, Cara Partners, APC, OpenJaw, FIRE, NVD, Errigal Bay, Digital Realty, Skillnet, Network International, Department of Transport and Dublin City Council as well as NFP organisations including Merchants Quay Ireland, Traidlinks and Northside Partnership. A Fellow of the CIPD, Shane holds a MBS (HR) from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business.

Shane is a Registered Coach with Henley Management School. In addition, he is a Certified Management Consultant with of the IMC and is Level 1 Certified with the British Psychological Society. He is on the Board of the Global Citizenship charity Suas Ireland.

Anne Hollinshead, Senior Consultant

Anne has worked for thirty years in multinationals and indigenous organisations in a wide variety of roles including technical, operational, administrative and management giving her significant insights at all levels of an organisation. Anne has responsibility for the Human Resources function and the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality functions.

As part of the Senior Management team, Anne was very familiar with day to day Operations and the importance of fulfilling Human Resources and Health and Safety needs while meeting all customer requirements and deadlines. In the last decade Anne has spent a substantial portion of her time working across a number of industries and brings a wealth of front line experience in change management, human resources and facilitation.

Anne holds a B. Comm in Accountancy, a B. Sc. in Information Technology, a Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work and a Certificate in Employment Law.

Kieran Sweeney, Senior Consultant

With his extensive experience in Human Resources, Operations Management and Industrial Relations at a senior level, Kieran brings clarity and a solutions focus to what can appear to be complex issues.

He has an excellent track record of success in delivering high impact change projects, designing organisations for the future, developing performance management systems and Industrial Relations Negotiations.

Clients include Dublin City Council, eir, OPW and Dublin Port.

Prior to joining Phoenix Consulting, Kieran’s positions included HR Director with eir, General Manager in ESB and Trustee Director of the ESB ESOT. Kieran holds an MIE from UCD, a Diploma in Statistics (TCD) as well as certificates in Company Direction (IOD) and Materials Management and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.

Siobhan Bradley, Senior Consultant

For over 15 years Siobhán has designed and led customised, business focused development programmes for organisations across sectors and extensively in the public sector. Working with all levels up to and including Board/ Senior Executive, she builds individual and teams’ capability for sustainable change and to lead thriving work environments. Through her applied expertise in leadership, change and OD, innovation, collaboration and strategic HR, Siobhán helps clients focus think systemically about the challenges they face.

As a qualified executive coach, Siobhán is passionate about coaching individuals and teams to changes and become effective collaborators and innovators.

Siobhán holds an Advanced Diploma in Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching, the CIPD Specialist Award in Organisational Development and Design and a Masters Business from UCD.

Una Hassett, Senior Consultant

Úna is an experienced HR & Change consultant, Executive coach, and Facilitator. She offers a wealth of experience from large organisations and multiple industries across both public and private sectors. Over the course of 25+ years in HR leadership roles she has been involved in a wide variety of HR, Change, Leadership Development, and Wellness projects. Úna’s experience spans all aspects of HR (people strategy, organisation design, business change and restructures, as well as talent, recruitment & retention strategies).

Úna is an accredited Executive coach at senior practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. She holds an honours business degree along with a postgraduate qualification in Psychology. She is also a tutor with the European College for Business Management.

Niall McNally, Senior Consultant

Niall McNally is an experienced HR and OD Consultant. He has completed numerous international and domestic consulting engagements during his 30-year career, where he has specialised in change management, performance improvement, organisation design and HR strategy and operations.

His clients have included Renault (France), Nissan Manufacturing (UK), Volvo (Sweden, Belgium), VW (Germany), Inform (Germany and Ireland), Vinturas (Netherlands), NVD (Ireland), Secto Engineering and Utilities (Ireland), DFDS Logistics (Belgium), Axess Logistics (Norway, Sweden), ATS (Norway), Wexford Insurance, Carrymorecars Ireland. He has also worked across the public sector including with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Education.

Niall’s former career included HR Director roles at both Tallaght Hospital (five years) and National Vehicle Distribution Limited (nine years). In his earlier career, he was Operations Director of UPC (t/a Virgin Media), a role he held for ten years. Prior to working with UPC, he was a senior management consultant with PWC.

Fiona O’Rourke, Senior Consultant

Fiona is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and has been working in the field of Human Resources for over 20 years. She is an accomplished HR professional with a proven track record in a variety of HR roles and industry sectors, including Financial Services, Technology, Pharmaceutical and Hotels. Fiona has been a member of the Irish management team at Royal Bank of Canada, Nitro, SAS, Zynga, Babel Networks, and Marriott.

Areas of expertise include HR Business Partnering, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, Change Management & Performance Management. An excellent communicator who delivers best-in-class service to business stakeholders, working alongside leaders and managers to enhance the performance of their teams and the business.

Fiona has experience of working in both established organisations and start-ups, as well as building a HR Function from the ground up within a newly created organisation, across multiple international locations in Europe & North America. She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, UCC, a National Diploma in Personnel Management, NCI and a Professional Diploma in Employment Law, UCD.
